Look yourself into a mirror and look
into the eyes, stay silent for a minute
and take a few relaxing breaths.
into the eyes, stay silent for a minute
and take a few relaxing breaths.
Note that the expression on your face
will begin to drop .
Notice what thoughts are coming to
your mind, and ask yourself the
question " Who are you ?". Keep looking
into your eyes, and then every 20 - 30
seconds repeat the question for about
ten minutes.
Ask the question and watch the
thoughts that are coming in your mind
from all the directions, mull over what
thoughts are coming to your mind. The
key is not doing anything and just
relax; you will see that the mind will
relax gradually, the breath will ease
and you can feel your belly with every
breath you inhale.
After the first ten minutes, half of the
exercise is over.
Connecting With Your Inner Self
Start with the second part "Writing
Notes" (for 10 minutes) .
Sit down in a relaxed posture and start
to write the thoughts that came to your
mind throughout the first 10 minutes of
the exercise. Just write whatever you
can remember and don't worry about
what you can't recall.
Write with a free mind, without any
rules, as openly as you can .
Stay with the notebook for 10 minutes ,
you can write as much as you like or
may be even a line or two . Exercise
done.
After you are done with the 10 minutes
of writing, do not open the notebook
again for the rest of the day .
Repeat the 20 minutes "Who are you ?"
exercise only the next morning. Do it
once and you will know for how many
more days you want to keep doing it.
