According to Abraham Maslow who said "If you deliberately set out to be less than you are capable
, you'll be unhappy for the rest of your life." Obviously Abraham is right, my mom called me one day and said Emmy as she fondly calls me what do you want to be in life,i told i want to talk, write and contribute to every dying dreams life and she smiled saying do all you can. One day after graduating i understood the possibility of knowing who i am owing to the fact that limitation to achieving that dream of mine was so huge immediately i recalled that 80% of our success is within and 20% is just our environment. procrastination takes more than we expect, understand this today the most destructive thing in life is not death, rather life with a sense of purpose, God is only indebted to you if only he has given no dreams or purpose. remember your passion becomes your purpose.
let me share this story of a man whose words of encouragement was that life has all you take to succeed, One day all the employees reached the office and saw a big advice written on the door. "Yesterday the person who has been stopping your growth in this company passed away. You are invited to join the funeral." In the beginning, they got sad for the death of one of their colleagues, but after a while they got curious to know who was the man who stopped their growth. Everyone thought: 'Well at least the man who stopped my progress died!' One by one the thrilled employees got closer to the coffin, and when they looked inside they were speechless. They stood shocked in silence, as if someone had touched the deepest part of their soul. There was a mirror inside the coffin and everyone who looked inside could see him/herself.
There was a sign next to the mirror that read: "There is only one person who is capable to set limits to your growth...It is you. You are the only person who can influence your happiness, success and realization." Your life does not change when your boss, friend or company changes.....your life changes when you change...you go beyond your limiting beliefs and you realize you are the only one responsible for your life. It's the way you face life that makes the difference! If an egg is broken from outside force....life ends but if it is broken from inside force life begins. Great things always begin from our inside.
I met a friend whose words were inspiring and i quote According to Ibekwe Chukwudi. Our greatest asset is our mind. Our second greatest asset is our time. What you spend your time on determines who you will become. What you give your attention to will give you direction. You become what you think about. What you think about you bring about.
Who said Remember your mind is your greatest asset, be careful what you feed mind, be careful what you feed your eyes, be careful of who and what you listen to.
